htfseWe are flattered extraction professionals are doing their best to achieve true full spectrum extracts as opposed to shatter, budder, cake batter, snap and pull, distillates and terpene-only products.
When we coined the phrases HTFSE and HCFSE in January, we chose them carefully. First being full spectrum extracts, it was important to call it by name. We then understood that it was either going to be terpene rich, or cannabinoid rich. That’s just the nature of cannabis extracts. Lastly, we wanted a scientific name for our extracts, as opposed to juice, sauce, water, etc. Everything starts out as a HTFSE after the ultra dewax, then begins the process of cannabinoids (mostly THCa) sugaring out of solution and leaving behind true HTFSE. When this process is performed correctly, the HTFSE liquid is typically stable indefinitely. Certain strains and terpene profiles might spontaneously sugar when low in volume or aged, however some low volume liquids I have are exactly the same at two years old, and actually improve with age. Once the THCa sugar stops settling, we use gravity to dribble the HTFSE away and then divide that sugar into retail grams. The sugar contains THCa crystals and HTFSE. We call it combined, High Cannabinoid Full Spectrum Extract, HCFSE. Any sugaring extract will be called HCFSE. Only stable, clear, balanced liquids that don’t gather at the pour point are termed HTFSE. If it was as easy as fresh frozen purged in a jar, you would think everyone would be doing it. We absolutely do release some information about our extractions, but it is meant to inspire extraction professionals to do better, and customers and patients to demand better. The more respect our industry has for native hydrocarbon extractions that exceed todays standards, the better it’s going to be for all of cannabis. True medicine is also outside of just cannabinoids and terpenes, it’s in the full spectrum of cannabis biomolecules.

We are a group of makers,![]() When Christmas comes around, I usually try to make as many gifts as possible to give to our friends and family. This year I am lucky enough to be near my in-laws, who are wonderfully active, despite their age, but occasionally they suffer from joint pain. The frigid Massachusetts winters mixed in with the beach air is considerably damaging. My mother-in-law, has been asking about gummies as well as something she can rub onto joints to help with the inflammation and that’s when I decided to make some cannabis infused body rub. Body rubs work because cannabinoid receptors are found throughout the human body, including the epidermis, so, when you rub THC or CBD into the skin via a topical, those cannabinoids are able to be absorbed through the skin affecting the area where it’s been applied, without the psychoactive effects that edibles or inhalants produce. Now, I didn’t want to try and reinvent the wheel and there are so many great companies that already have tried and true methods of making topicals. So I asked around and managed to find a great local company, LIDDIES, who makes their own body rub with great success and were happy to share their recipe with me and you. Here’s the recipe to make LIDDIES Lavender Body Rub: Fills Twenty-four 2oz tin jars with aproximetly 70 miligrams of THC per jar.
1. Heat the pot to a low medium heat, you don’t want your mixture to boil or even simmer. 2. We poured the beeswax into a large thick bottomed pot first. 3. Then we broke up the Shea Butter and put that into the same pot 4. We measured the Coco Butter into a Pyrex measuring cup and melted it in the microwave for 90 seconds with a wet paper towel covering the top of the cup. After it melted, we added that to our pot. 5. Then add in the Olive Oil and 2 grams of Distillate from Extractioneering. 6. Once everything is melted and mixed together, let it all cool down for about 5 minutes and add your choice of essential oils. 7. Before it cools too much, add to your tins, careful though, those tins conduct heat and will get just as hot as your oil. 8. Let them cool down for at least 1 hour before use. 9. Enjoy! that new new![]() We heard you loud and clear. You want The Liquid High Terpene Full Spectrum Extract, but, you also want to get the power of the Amber Distiallate. We originally created Dip n' Dabs, which came with 0.5ml of Distillate in a jar as well as a 0.5ml vial of HTFSE, which allowed patients in California to choose the level of THC to HTFSE ratio. It flew off the shelves, but, people still felt it was too cumbersome for travel and because of the nature of Amber Distillate, it is often used with patients who are in a great deal of pain, who don't want to deal with mixing and matching anything in tiny containers. check out the video2016 has been a wild ride. We began in January with a solitary mission. To fight back against the solventless agenda. Rosin, Terpenes, and Distillate were dominating.
We offered the complete package, a hydrocarbon extract. #extractioneering We spent over 300 days fighting against fake products. Fighting to show the world true extractions. Showing examples of nothing added or reintroduced. Spending time on real products and true extracts. #HTFSE #HCFSE We think we have done our work. A hydrocarbon extraction can be clean. A hydrocarbon extraction can stand on it’s own. A hydrocarbon extraction can be ultradewaxed. A hydrocarbon extract can be the best ever tasted. #NMRValidated IT IS NOW WE INTRODUCE OUR 5150ies A combo of distillate (to the left) and HTFSE (to the right) In the middle of the video is our 5150ies #5150ies 50% DISTILATE 50% HTFSE 2/3rds the price! NO MONOTERPENE BLOWOUTS OR CO2 SILLY SAPPY WAX TAFFY Make your own gummies!![]() We love our edibles here at New England Canna and Gummy Bears are a staple of the Cannabis Connoisseur Kit. But we also like to try and be healthy (within moderation) so we decided to make our own Gummies, without added sugar and with some fun new flavors that are known to aid in several health issues. We wanted to be able to offer you a delicious alternative that you could decide on how much or how little THC was in each one, allowing you to choose your own dosage. Being in New England, we decided to start our journey through the world of Gummy Bears, with Cranberries. We used Organic Cranberry juice, not from concentrate in order to reduce the amount of time needed to set the gummy bears. The less water you have in your recipe, the less time it will take to set and the faster you can start to enjoy them. The less water in your recipe also aids in lengthening the time your Cannabis Gummy Bears will stay fresh and not mold. It took several attempts to get the right consistency for the gummies, without enough Gelatin, the gummies turned out too mushy and were difficult to keep intact when removed from the mold. But, with too much gelatin, they were too hard to chew! Recipe for Cannabis GummiesHere is the list of Tools you will need:
1/2 Cup Cranberry Juice, not from concentrate 3 Silicone Gummy Bear Mold 1 Silicone Spatula 2 packages of Knox Gelatin 2 Tea Spoons of Organic Corn Starch Small saucepan 1 Gram of Extractioneering Amber Distillate OR 1 Table Spoon of Organic Amber Distillate Honey This recipe creates 150 gummy bears at 15ml of THC Distillate per Gummy Bear. You can add more or less to fit your particular needs. Grabbing a small saucepan is crucial to this recipe. The first few times we tried using a small pot, which prevented us from sprinkling the Knox Gelatin properly across the surface of the juice, which created undesirable lumps in our concoction. Using the Amber Distillate Honey from Extractioneering was also a lot easier than mixing in the distillate on its own, which 2 out of 3 times turned into a sticky hot mess. 1. Bring the Cranberry Juice to a simmer, but, don't let it boil. 2. Add in the 2 packages of Knox Gelatin, by sprinkling it evenly across the small saucepan. 3. Mix with your spatula for at least 1 minute while the pan is still simmering. 4. Once all the Knox Gelatin has dissolved add 1 tablespoon of Amber Distillate Honey and mix until melted fully integrated. 5. Lay your Gummy Bear Molds out next to each other and pour your concoction evenly across the three molds. 6. Use your spatula to spread the concoction evenly into the 150 slots. Make sure to scrape the mold clean to ensure each gummy bear will be separate from the other. 7. Place the molds, carefully, into the refrigerator for 1 hour or into the freezer for 20 minutes. Please keep in mind that all edibles have a delayed effect sometimes taking more than 30 minutes to start taking effect. Please use this recipe with caution and make sure not ingest all of them at once! |
