New England Canna has not been around for very long, but we are honored to have been received with open arms by so many amazing people here in Massachusetts, Maine and surrounding areas.
So we decided to have a small dinner to get a chance to meet some of the amazing people that make this industry so incredible. We were privileged to have patients, caregivers and everything in between come to our intimate gathering, and with only 20 seats available, tickets sold out, well before the event dates.
The dinners were held in two separate locations, one for each night of the event in two beautiful lavish homes in the South Shore of Massachusetts, just a short walk from the beach. And it was such a wonderful night that we decided to serve dinner outside under the stars.
We had a fully catered five course, THC infused meal donated by the Liddies and the Wicked Chef of Boston. Which included some Incredible locally sourced healthy whole foods such as Miso Bone Broth with Jumbo Prawns or the Orange Polenta Cake with Drizzled Honey and Pomegranate Reduction. My personal favorite was the Cherry and Coconut Ice-Cream Sandwiches, drizzled with infused Honey Butter, which, tipped my night over completely into a happy giddy mess.
Before everyone left, New England Canna handed out a goody bag filled to the brim with awesome gifts, including a bunch of Liddies Products: Body Balm with 150mg THC, Lip Balm with 150mg, Sugar Scrub with 300mg and Coffee Scrub with 150mg Extractioneering also donated a 0.5gm jar of HCFSE, a 1gm of Rind and a 1.5gm of HTFSE for each bag. Herbal Remedies of Maine donated their brand of CBD Body Balm, made by their immunologist. Sticky Hive Brand donated honey to Liddies to mix with their Ghee, making some of the most epic Honey Butter we have ever had. We were also gifted beautiful amethyst and quartz clusters as well as geode pendants for the goody bag from the Sauce Mistress. Not to mention the beautiful hand crafted wood stash boxes from ZeeFusion. The bag was worth well over $500!
The one thing we heard over and over, was how Extractioneering and events like these were bringing Cannabis out from the shadows. By bringing intelligence, quality and genuine caring in a luxurious experience, we were changing the face of what most people perceive the Cannabis Industry to be. It wasn't our intention, we just wanted to meet you and share a moment with our greatest supporters, but, it was such a wonderful side affect. We were genuinely humbled by the kindness and humility our guests brought to the dinners and this being my very event, it helped to cement how wonderfully diverse the people who enjoy Cannabis really are.
We look forward to seeing more of you at our Harvest Brunch on September 30th. This time around, there will be 35 seats available for those who are able to join us, there will be a huge buffet, fun games, prizes, live music, 20% all orders and of course a goody bag filled to the brim with amazing donations from our friends.
All the profit from ticket sales will go to Habitat for Humaity in order to help support the rebuilding efforts in the wake of Hurricane.
